Gather Ingredients

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

In a small, heavy saucepan, bring the heavy whipping cream to a simmer.

Step 2

Place chocolate in a separate bowl. Pour whipping cream over chocolate and add vanilla. Allow the mixture to stand for a few minutes. Stir until smooth.

Step 3

Allow to cool, then place in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Remove, and scoop out balls of the ganache with a teaspoon. Roll quickly with your hands, as the ganache will melt slightly from the heat of your hands.

Step 4

Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and place in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 5

Roll in other toppings to coat, and return to the refrigerator until needed.
